The only available book for midwives that studies anatomy and physiology as applied to obstetrics and gynaecology. No other textbook suits the midwife's requirements in this area. The text looks at the physiology of pregnancy and is well illustrated. The third edition contains high quality colour illustrations for the first time and many of the original illustrations have been redrawn. However, the popular line sketches have been retained for student revision.
